Louise loves working with children. She is also passionate about the mental health field as well as different modalities of Arts. She wants to speak for the children and help adults understand the child’s real needs which helps them to grow healthily. Louise provides Play therapy and Expressive arts therapy (EXAT) services for children/adolescents as well as Filial Play coaching for parents/carers. In addition, Louise also provides personal therapy and supervision services for expressive arts therapist trainees and therapists.
Louise holds a Master of Expressive Arts Therapy Degree from the University of Hong Kong. Apart from the Arts Therapist (AThR) and Expressive Arts Therapist (REAT) registration, she is also a Certified Play Therapist and a Certified Mental Health First Aider. Louise is currently working with children as a therapist in schools and her private practice. Furthermore, Louise is also experienced in working with clients from diverse backgrounds such as hospitals, addiction treatment centers and rehabilitation centers, etc. Louise treats each client according to their own unique personality, developmental stage, mental health and lifestyle circumstances. Her practice is governed by the Standards of Practice and the Code of Ethics of the Australian New Zealand and Asian Creative Arts Therapy Association (ANZACATA) and the Play Therapy International (PTI). She cherishes each opportunity to serve and to offer help to those in need.
